The Florida Center for Instructional Technology
(FCIT) is located in the College of Education, University
of South Florida, at Tampa, Florida. FCIT is funded by the Florida Department of Education, Bureau of Instruction and Innovation, to provide leadership, instructional materials, and support services to educational institutions
with regard to the integration of technology into K-20 education.
The faculty members and graduate students in the USF Instructional Technology program contribute to many of
the products created by FCIT.
The Center also supports College of Education faculty and students and through the Laptop Initiative.
